The job mix is narrower than "pool company" suggests: installs, liner replacements, wall and seam repairs, openings and closings, dismantling, and the site work around all of it. Liners and winter damage come up most. A homeowner writing in June 2026 described an 18-foot round pool where the crew leveled and compacted the sand, laid a liner pad, then set a new liner, skimmer and return — about two hours, start to finish. The written history runs 2020 through 2026 and holds steady across it. Repeat business is the recurring shape: a July 2026 reviewer was back for an 18x33 replacement pool after the same crew patched a hole in the old wall in 2018, and a May 2025 reviewer on their second liner watched the job grow into a wall replacement once the ice damage turned out to be worse than expected. Twice — in a 2024 review and again in May 2025 — customers said they were told their pool could be saved after other companies had quoted a full replacement. Money is the thing to settle before booking. A 2025 reviewer said it plainly: not the cheapest pool installers. And the sharpest complaint on file, a two-star review from June 2023, is entirely about cost — a charge for coming out, a quote the writer felt exceeded what the pool was worth, and no free guidance on doing it alone. Cutting the other way, a 2024 reviewer noted no fees that hadn't been discussed first, and a 2025 repair customer said pricing was explained up front with nothing added later. Ask what the site visit costs and get the scope in writing, and the disagreement mostly resolves itself. One more honest note: a customer whose pool went in during August 2025 said issues came up mid-project, and credited the crew — Al, Melanie and a foreman named Sean — with working through them rather than walking. The right call if you own an above-ground pool north of Boston or into southern New Hampshire and need it installed, re-lined, or put back together after a hard winter.
