Realini Auto Repair is a car repair shop on Howard Street in Braintree — not a home heating and cooling contractor, despite how it's filed here. Every source describes the same business: brakes, tune-ups, oil changes, electrical diagnostics, and 24-hour towing, run out of one location by its owner, Rich Realini. Rich says he opened the shop around December 2012 after more than three decades working on cars at other garages, and the shop's own site describes it as owner-operated ever since. That history lines up with what customers say: a 4.9-star average from 40 Google ratings, and a consistent thread across several independent sites — Nextdoor, Roadtrippers, Loc8NearMe — calling the shop honest, fair-priced, and reliable. The most recent review, from June 2026, describes Rich tracking down a stubborn 'limp mode' power-loss problem on a 2006 GMC Sierra — the kind of diagnostic work that keeps coming up in what people say about the shop. One other write-up singles out a brake-pad-and-rotor job as fairly priced and well done. It isn't a high-volume flow of reviews — fifteen total spread across 2021 to 2026 — but the tone hasn't wavered across that stretch. It isn't BBB accredited, though that's common for small independent shops, and there's nothing on its BBB file suggesting a problem — no rating issued, no complaints on record. If you're comparing plumbers, electricians, or HVAC installers, this listing won't help you — it belongs to a different trade entirely. If you need a car worked on around Braintree, years of steady, specific praise for diagnosis and fair pricing make it worth a call.

Rich is such a great guy. He was able to diagnose and repair a loss of power "limp mode" issue on my 2006 GMC sierra 2500. Which I can't imagine is an easy thing to do.<br>Call and make an appointment first, because he's usually busy, as any good mechanic should be!

We've worked with Rich multiple times through the years. He's exactly what you'd hope to find in a good mechanic - knowledgeable, friendly, and tries to find the best solution that seems very reasonable and fair. Does a quality job and presents options in most cases. Highly recommended.

This place has saved me thousands of dollars, I was quoted $1200 brake pads and Rotor exchange on my car. I saved over $700 with Realini auto. Each time i get my car back within 24 hours.

Rich is a nice guy. He has accommodated me very graciously when I've had to come by with my kids. He does an honest job with fair prices. Would definitely recommend.
