On Franklin Street in Quincy, this crew has put together a small, spotless record doing the kind of chimney work most homeowners only think about once something's already leaking. Every review on Google — all eight of them — lands at five stars, and the same idea keeps surfacing: find the specific problem, fix that, and stop. The most recent review, from May, describes a years-long brick leak that a breathable sealer finally stopped — applied so moisture can't get back in, dry ever since through heavy storms. A couple months earlier, in March, a customer's chimney crown had cracked in a freeze-thaw cycle and was sending water down into ceiling stains; the crew rebuilt the crown with the correct slope so water sheds instead of pooling, and the leak stopped there too. A run of earlier reviews from November and December rounds out the picture: a crown-and-flashing repair where the tech skipped an unnecessary full rebuild, a chimney sweep where the quoted price held on site, and a cap installation and inspection customers called thorough. The catch is simply volume — eight reviews over about six months, all on Google, is a real but short history, not the years-deep, multi-source kind that erases all doubt. For a leaking chimney, a cracked crown, or a yearly sweep, the reviews point to a crew that diagnoses before it sells. As with any contractor, confirm current pricing and scheduling directly since neither is documented yet.

These guys waterproofed my chimney after years of water getting in through the brick. Applied some kind of sealer that lets the brick breathe but keeps water out. David explained the whole process and it's been bone dry since then even in heavy storms.

Had some serious chimney crown damage after last winter's freeze thaw cycle. The concrete was cracking and letting water seep down into the house which was causing stains on the ceiling. Quincy Air Duct, Dryer Vent & Chimney Services came out and rebuilt the whole crown properly with the right slope so water runs off instead of pooling. Looks great now and no more leaks.

What I appreciated most was how they didn't try to upsell me. They found some loose masonry and suggested simple repairs instead of pushing a full rebuild. They fixed the crown, sealed the flashing, and left me with peace of mind.

Great customer service and really efficient work. They installed a new chimney cap and checked for blockages. Everything feels safer.
