LEO Inc., at 181 Union St in Lynn, isn't an HVAC company -- it's Lynn Economic Opportunity, Inc., a nonprofit community action agency. Its own site describes running Head Start early education and a Home Energy Assistance Program (fuel assistance) for income-eligible households, not any heating or cooling repair work, and it makes no claim of a contractor's license, insurance, or emergency service. On Google it holds 3.7 stars from 38 ratings, but the write-ups aren't about furnaces or duct work -- they're about the assistance programs themselves. In the past six months three of four new reviews have turned negative: one describes a lien threat after a delayed fuel-assistance payment, another calls the phone lines unanswered and the staff clueless. An older review, in Spanish, describes staff helping with heating-assistance applications as amable y servicial (kind and helpful) -- a reminder the experience seems to vary by who picks up. The recurring complaint in the negative reviews is reachability during the fuel-assistance season, not workmanship, since there is no workmanship here to review. If you're applying for heating aid through LEO, the reviews suggest budgeting time for follow-up calls and keeping paper records of your application. This isn't a place to call about a broken furnace or an AC install. LEO is the right contact if a household in Lynn, Lynnfield, Marblehead, Nahant, Saugus, Swampscott, or Wakefield needs help with a winter heating bill or enrolling a child in Head Start -- confirm eligibility and required documents up front given the reports of slow processing.

I just like to know when you receive the fuel assistance for the Fiscal year 2026. It’s now May and Wakefield Lights haven't received payment. They wanted to put a lien on my house if I didn’t pay which was hard as I was unemployed.

Es un lugar donde puedes encontrar personas que te ayudan a aplicar para diversos programas de ayuda principalmente para un alivio en el costo del heater en el invierno! Son muy amables y serviciales.
