A dead furnace at night, an air conditioner quitting during a heat wave — these are the calls Accurate LLC gets in Randolph, and the reviews keep circling back to how fast they show up. On Google, 156 ratings average 4.8, with a history running back to 2021 across 88 reviews. The company's own site says it opened in 2004, and separately calls itself veteran-owned and Randolph-based, though it also claims 'over 30 years of experience' on the same homepage — a founding story that doesn't quite add up. The recent pattern backs up the speed reputation. When a condenser died mid-heat-wave, Paul got it running again within the hour and flagged that the unit's cooling coil hadn't been cleaned in six years. When an elderly couple's thermostat failed on a 93-degree day, he spent two and a half hours on-site checking the thermostat, circuit breakers, and filter for what they called a reasonable price. A boiler replacement got a same-day quote and a finished job within the week. Water heater work shows up often enough in the reviews — one recent install was called transparent from start to finish, with Paul pushing to get a warranty replacement covered — that plumbing looks like part of the regular mix, not an occasional favor. The last six months carry eight reviews and none of them negative. The history isn't spotless, though. A couple of 1-star reviews describe jobs that didn't get finished right — a gas furnace leak that went unresolved after repeat visits, and a mini-split installation where the wrong equipment reportedly cost a customer a MassSave rebate. Both read as real complaints about follow-through rather than misunderstandings, and they're worth asking about directly before signing off on a bigger installation. On Angi, where the profile is new and has no reviews yet, the company repeats a similar résumé: 26 years of experience, veteran ownership, and factory training on Bosch, Fujitsu, Mitsubishi, and Trane equipment. For a heating or cooling emergency in Randolph, the pattern of quick turnarounds is consistent enough to trust. Before a larger installation, it's worth getting the warranty and callback terms in writing, given the two specific complaints about work that wasn't fully resolved.

AC condenser went down so we have to find someone come immediately but everyone is overbooked due to 90s degree. Few company charging 199 for “emergency visit” but that’s on Sunday and Monday. Weird how that’s even considered emergency anymore. I called Paul and he came after finishing up a call few hours later. He got it fix and up running within an hour. House is now sitting comfortably at 70. He also recommended condenser cleaning which is been totally neglect for 6 years.

First 93 degree day and thermostat wasn’t working. Called and Paul said he could come out after noon. My husband and I are in our 80’s so don’t do well in the heat. He came at one worked about 2 1/2 hrs, switching the thermostat, checking our circuit breakers, switching filter and checking compressor. Price was reasonable for all that he did. Highly recommend his company!
