The two most recent reviews, both from this spring, keep that streak going. In May, a homeowner called about a mysterious leaky tub; Hilke called back within the hour, showed up the same day, traced the problem to cracks in the tub itself, and sealed them on the spot. A reviewer in April called him "the Picasso of plumbing" for timely, clean work and said they'd hire him again. That's zero complaints in the last six months, sitting on top of a five-star run stretching back to 2023 that spans everything from routine repair calls to larger renovation-scale plumbing. Away from Google, the other directories don't add much. The BBB page carries that A grade but lists no reviews or complaints of its own, and Angi's Boston plumbing directory surfaces just one review tied specifically to this business rather than a dedicated profile. One thing worth asking about: BBB lists the LLC as incorporated only in December 2023, which doesn't line up with the company's own claim of working since 2008 — probably Hilke operated independently before formalizing the business, but it's worth clarifying insurance and licensing continuity under the current entity.
