Highlights
- Fast emergency response — recent reviews describe same-day, next-morning heat fixes
- Long local history — family-owned in Danvers since 1988
- Consistent ratings — 4.4 stars across 28 Google reviews
- Address listings vary — some directories still show an outdated Locust St address
New England Gas Systems answers when the heat goes out — its two most recent Google reviews are both from customers who lost heat and had a technician, Chris, on site within hours. One called at 8 a.m. on a cold morning and had the system running again by 11; another had an old propane stove's starting switch and pilot replaced the same week, described as quick, clean work. The company has operated in Danvers as a family-owned business since 1988, and its Massachusetts plumbing license is currently active. Its Google page shows 4.4 stars from 28 ratings, a number echoed on independent directories that pull from the same review count, and those pages also point to punctual, same-day response as a recurring theme among reviewers. The public review history isn't huge — 14 reviews across four sources since 2022 — but the last six months have been clean, with no negative reports in that window. The older reviews in the record describe the same kind of work: tracking down a specific replacement part, then diagnosing and repairing a gas valve, boiler, or burner unit rather than a straight swap. One thing worth confirming before calling: a couple of directory listings still show an old 102 Locust St address instead of the company's current Hutchinson Drive location, so double-check you have the right contact details. For a no-heat call, a gas valve or burner issue, or a propane appliance repair in the Danvers area, this is a contractor with a licensed, decades-old local track record and a clean recent run — worth a call, with the address mismatch cleared up first.

Had our old magestic propane stove repaired for a new starting switch and pilot. Chris communicated ahead of time and came out to do the repair. Quick and clean work, couldn’t be happier with the job!

I had a no-heat situation due to a faulty gas valve. Chris arrived the next morning and tracked down the replacement part. He then painstakingly disassembled, cleaned and then reassembled<br>the entire gas burner unit. My direct vent gas hot water boiler is now running at peak efficiency. I would highly recommend New England Gas Systems, Inc.

I bought my first home in Massachusetts in May of 2023 and have been using New England Gas Systems after a friend recommended them. I have had nothing but a fantastic experience with them. They have come to service my (very very old) furnace twice now in prep for winter and have made everything so easy from scheduling to calling before they arrive and the actual service. They completed a tune up a couple weeks ago and on Monday my furnace started making a very loud noise. As a first time homeowner, this stuff can be overwhelming and confusing, and with the age of my unit, made me very nervous. That same day I was able to speak with the office, send in a video and talk to a tech. He even facetimed me to talk me through it and see what I was looking at to confirm it wasn't urgent. They were able to schedule a tech to come out two days later to check it out. Ryan was able to identify the problem quickly and it ended up being something super simple. What was most appreciated and impressive was the time he took just to show things to me, explain items and answer all of my questions. You could tell Ryan really cared about the work he did and making sure I felt confident and knowledgeable. I'll recommend New England Gas Systems every time. They're the best! Thank you all.
