The reviews of Emma Plumbing and Drain Services read like a log of bad nights turned around: a water tank flooding a utility room at 11:30 pm, a Sunday-afternoon leak at the water meter, a shower that suddenly ran cold. This is Emmanuel's shop, based in Brockton, and the same story repeats across a 5.0 average on 254 Google ratings — text him photos of the problem, get a call back within minutes, and he's at the door, often within the hour. Water heaters are the signature job. One June customer found the tank leaking in the basement and had a new unit installed — old one hauled away — within a couple of hours; another described a late-night failure swapped out the same evening. Drain work runs a close second: a February visit from Darnell covered a toilet wax seal, a water line repair, and a main-line clog he came back to clear, and when another stubborn clog turned into a bigger job than planned, the crew stuck to the original quote anyway. The history behind those stories runs deep for a small operation: 234 reviews since 2023 across seven sites, 19 of them in the last six months, none negative. The Massachusetts plumbing license (4123-PL-C) is active, and the Better Business Bureau grades the business A-. Two things to know before calling. Emergency work is priced like emergency work — the reviewer whose clog job grew said the price "wasn't cheap," even while noting the quote held. And the photo-first routine appears to be standard practice: customers who sent pictures up front got a number and a plan before the truck rolled, which is the easiest way to avoid surprises. If a pipe just burst or the water heater died on a holiday weekend, this is the kind of shop you call first. Send the photos, get the price in writing, and expect him — or Darnell — sooner than you'd guess.

Sunday afternoon our tenants reported a substantial water leak at the water meter. We immediatley called Emma Plumbing. He asked us to send photos of the problem. Five minutes later he called us to discuss the problem. Within an hour he came to inspect the problem. He promptly identified the issue and was able to make the repair. He was professional, communicative and will absolutely be contacted for some upcoming work. Thanks for saving our Sunday afternoon!

I can't say enough good things about Emma Plumbing. They responded incredibly fast and came out right away to help with my plumbing issue. They were professional, knowledgeable, and honest. It's rare to find businesses that genuinely care about helping people instead of just making a sale. Highly recommended!

I cannot recommend Emma Plumbing highly enough. The workmanship was absolutely top-notch, and the pricing was more than fair—honestly unbeatable for the quality of work delivered. From start to finish, they were professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and took great pride in their work. It's rare to find a contractor you can trust completely, but Emma Plumbing has earned that trust. They will be my first call for any plumbing project in the future, and I would confidently recommend them to anyone looking for quality work done right the first time!
