Thirty-seven years in the window trade and 21 Google ratings to show for it — Ultimate Windows runs on repeat customers, not on reviews. The company says it has been family-owned since 1989, founded by Giacomo Perrino, and it manufactures its own custom windows rather than reselling someone else's. It works from Everett and Lawrence and covers both sides of the trade: residential replacement windows and doors, plus commercial storefronts and shower doors. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active and held in the company's own name. Its BBB page is an A+, and it has been accredited there since 1991. What the people who hired them describe is a long relationship rather than one dazzling job. In a February 2025 review, a customer said they had used the company for years and had its windows in their own home, calling out fast quotes and a turnaround quicker than promised. Another, writing in January 2022, described many years of doing business with the shop and called it reliable. BuildZoom's permit records show twelve window and door installations between 2002 and 2024 — Everett, Revere, Malden, Brookline, Middleton, Peabody and Weston — so the work is spread across the north-of-Boston towns rather than concentrated in one. The complaints cluster on communication, not craftsmanship, and they are worth reading before you call. A customer ordering windows for a master-bathroom project in July 2022 rated them 2★ and described a hard time getting straight answers about options and process, lead times roughly double the initial estimate, and repeated follow-ups needed just to get installation scheduled. A 2023 reviewer gave 3★ and said nobody called back. Nothing recent repeats that pattern — the single review in the past six months is a plain 5★ — but it is the obvious thing to nail down up front. A sensible call if you want windows built to your openings by a long-established local manufacturer and you're comfortable chasing the schedule yourself. Before you sign, get the lead time in writing, agree who is calling whom about updates, and check the registration number yourself on the state's site.
