Tingley installed our new Mitsubishi heat pump, including removing our aging furnace and a/c units. The work was done in one day, despite a midstream change of course when the location had to be changed. The team who provided the service was polite, professional, efficient, friendly, and seemingly tireless. I would not hesitate to hire them again and to recommend them to anyone needing HVAC services.

I called to find out a price for electrical work. Nope, no free estimates. Pay $99 for them to drive out and price the job. And if I don't like the price, I paid $99 for just to get a quote. No thanks. I am sure they do great work. But they don't want you to price check them. No thanks! Be aware.

Had to update my review now that it was done. The technicians were nice but i paid $1376.35 for the replacement of two light of which I bought one and the other they used all the old parts?? Can’t wait for the detailed bill on this one. Unfortunate.

Do not use this company for HVAC work! Working with Tingley to install a new HVAC system has been a nightmare. They started the project in early fall. The inspector came to look at the gas line they installed to the house and failed it because of something minute. That started a 10 week delay during which we had a large trench open on our yard because, we later came to find out, Tingley was refusing to pay the re inspection fee. So now it’s late November, and that’s all sorted so the work begins. When the technician showed up to do the work, he told us we’d lose heat and hot water for the duration of the work (2-3 days). Never once was that mentioned to us previously, something made extra frustrating by the fact that there was a seemingly avoidable 10 week delay that pushed it into the winter. We have a 1 year old baby and it was miserable trying to keep her warm and not being able to do bedtime baths. Fast forward 3 months and now it’s late January and the boiler broke last night, and we are again without heat and hot water, with a brand new HVAC system. Tingley doesn’t have any technicians available for emergency repairs on Sunday, so we are without heat until tomorrow. There’s so much more to complain about but my fingers are too cold to keep typing. 2 stars because every individual we have worked with has been pleasant, it’s the outcomes that have been absolutely miserable.

Installing an AFCI breaker is not required by code when you’re simply replacing outlet. Would have been more honest if you said hey I think it’s safer if you do. $385 for breaker and $90 per 15v outlet was the cost for those that care to know.
