The owner flew to Colorado. In a July 2024 review a customer described moving everything they owned from Boston to Colorado in a 53-foot trailer, with Josh overseeing the whole job and then flying out personally to watch the unload — and not one item damaged. That is the shape of most of what people write about Road Warrior: the person who quoted the job is the person who turns up. The company works out of 50 Lowell Street in Arlington and has been at it since 2000 — BBB records a 1 January 2000 start and incorporation that February, 26 years, eight employees, with Josh Damboise as president and chief operating officer. It handles local, interstate and international moves, commercial relocation, piano and office moving, and runs its own climate-controlled storage warehouse with packing materials. Its BBB file has been accredited since January 2002 and carries an A+ grade, and it is listed with the Arlington Chamber of Commerce. Recent customers keep describing the fussy parts going right. One had furniture taken out of a house that needed doors and handrails removed, and everything put back as it was. Another uses the storage side to split shipments between destinations. In March 2026 a customer had their move split into two parts around a snowstorm, which they said took the stress out of it. Go back further and the specifics repeat. A December 2025 customer moving Arlington to Wayland said communication was clear, the price fair, and the crew hauled away things they didn't want to bring. Another that month said the quote came in under the competition, packing materials were included, and the crew threw in advice on repairing an old piece of furniture. A December 2025 review described a move that turned out bigger than expected with no surprises in the estimate and no breakages at all packing a china cabinet. In August 2022 a customer said Frank's estimate, given sight unseen from a description, matched the final cost. Every published review is five stars, which is worth being explicit about: this set does not read as manufactured. The lengths vary from a line to several paragraphs, the same names recur across five years, customers count their own repeat business ("4 moves", "8 times in the past 10 years", "every move I have made since it was a few boxes right after college"), and the jobs are distinct and specific. About ten arrived within four weeks in early December 2025, which reads as a request for reviews going out rather than anything invented, since no two bodies resemble each other. Note also that Google's 4.8 average across 49 ratings means some ratings below five exist whose text is not published. Two things to nail down before booking. Who the owner actually is gets told differently — most reviewers say Josh, a 2022 reviewer credits "Frank, the owner", and BBB lists Josh Damboise as president/COO. And the USDOT, ICC MC and MDPU numbers printed on the company's site are its own statements, not verified here, so check them against the FMCSA and the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities. Then get the capped proposal the company advertises in writing.
