Seven Moving is a small Brookline moving company — Google shows 4.9 stars across 193 ratings, and the Better Business Bureau grades it A+. The jobs that keep showing up in reviews are the physically awkward ones: a sectional couch and 6-foot cabinets moved without a single ding to the walls, a couch hoisted up to a fourth-floor apartment by way of the balcony, a move up three flights with no elevator in the middle of summer. The last six months alone produced 47 reviews, and every one of them was positive — a run that stretches from a January move up a walk-up finished in under two hours to a July move from Boston all the way to Chicago. Reviewers keep naming the same operations manager, Ken, for staying responsive and upfront about scheduling changes, and the same field crews — led by movers like Wally and John — for careful wrapping and on-time arrivals. Several customers have come back three or four times since 2018, each time reporting the same thing: no damage, no surprises. Pricing comes up often and favorably — reviewers describe flat hourly rates with no hidden fees, and one noted the company skipped a deposit entirely. The one blemish on record is a single 2-star review from over a year ago describing an unhappy experience with a small job; it stands apart from everything else on file, which has been positive without exception since. For a local or long-distance move that involves awkward furniture, tight stairwells, or a tricky building, the recent record backs up the hire. Worth confirming ahead of time: crew size and hourly rate for your specific job, since pricing scales with how many movers you book.

We had Jackson, Oralberk, and Magzhan help us load our moving truck for our move from Boston to Chicago, and I seriously can't recommend them enough. From the start, Jackson did a great job preparing us for moving day by telling us exactly what we should buy ahead of time (straps, moving supplies, etc.), which made the whole process so much easier. The crew showed up right on time and was very candid about the amount of stuff we had and the possibility that it might not all fit in our truck. They were honest about it, but also said they would do everything they could to make it work. They got everything out of our apartment and into the loading dock incredibly fast, but what impressed me the most was how carefully they packed the truck. Once they found out we had a 15-hour drive ahead of us, they made sure everything was packed as tightly and securely as possible. They clearly took a lot of pride in what they were doing. After our drive to Chicago, we opened the truck and not a single thing had shifted. Everything was exactly where they packed it. I honestly don't think we could have asked for a better experience. I would hire Jackson, Oralberk, and Magzhan again in a heartbeat. The only downside is that we moved out of state, so I won't have them for any future moves. If you get this crew, consider yourself lucky!

Seven Moving was recommended to me by a friend who hired them a few years ago. I had an excellent experience with the moving team and they handled my complicated multi-stop move wonderfully, despite the heat. Management was also consistently very prompt in responding, even when I wasn't replying quickly myself. I look forward to hiring them again for my next move.

I had a pleasant experience with Seven Moving. Beka's team was professional, fast, and gentle with my stuff. He even took good care of my cat who was in a cage. Ken (Operations manager) was also very nice and professional. Price was reasonable. I would recommend this place for anyone moving within Boston.

Hired for a move from Waltham to Quincy and it was definitely the right call. Crew showed up on time, worked incredibly fast, and the total price was very reasonable. If you’re in the Boston metro area this group won’t disappoint.

I could not have asked for a better experience with seven movers! They cleared out my entire apartment in an impressive amount of time even as I was living on the 3rd floor with no elevator in July. They were friendly, accommodating, and super helpful. They were also very careful of all my belonging and made sure they got to my new place. Communicating over email also made life easy as they were quick to respond and gave clear responses! Super grateful for all the moving help I received! Affordable and amazing- couldn’t recommend enough!
