Intelligent Labor & Moving is run by founder Zeke out of Arlington, and reviewers keep coming back to the same thing: crews that stay careful and communicative move after move, for the same customers, sometimes for years running. The company handles local household and office moves, packing, and furniture handling across the Greater Boston area. The last several months alone supply plenty of specifics. One June crew powered through a 100-degree moving day without missing a beat; another maneuvered several oversized couches through a doorway they shouldn't have fit through, without a scratch. A different June job came through a referral from another mover that was booked out on the requested date — the office took an itemized furniture list over the phone and worked out an estimate from it. Google backs this up at real scale: 239 ratings, every one of them 5 stars, and the last six months brought 31 reviews without a single negative one among them. One thing worth knowing: pricing and timing move with the actual job, not just the initial guess. A June customer who'd underestimated how much they owned ended up with a longer day and a higher final bill — the crew, led by Jon, communicated the changes as they happened, and the customer still recommended them afterward. So get your inventory as accurate as you can up front. For a Boston-area move of almost any size, this is a mover with an unusually deep and consistent track record behind it — just nail down the itemized list before moving day so the quote holds.

Absolutely fantastic. Very professional, deconstructed and rebuilt all furniture while even consulting on how we want the rooms laid out. Would highly recommend!

I had a great experience from start to finish. They were very easy to work with, responsive, clear, and great attention to detail. The team showed up on time and ready to work. It was a 100 degrees and they powered through. Well done, I would hire them again.

We would definitely recommend Intelligent Labor and moving - they were prompt, responsive, and did a great job moving all of our boxes and furniture. They even moved a washer and dryer to a different floor in our house while unloading our moving truck.
