RB Farina Roofing works out of Arlington and shows up in reviews for the full range of roof work — reroofing houses, patching storm and ice-dam damage, replacing rotted gutters and fascia, and installing skylights and vents. Its Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor license (174723) is active, and Google puts it at 4.8 stars across 583 ratings. The reviews read like the same few people doing careful, specific work. In May, supervisor Victor Gomes got a chimney pointed, shingles replaced, and a new gutter section installed on time and on budget; in June, Gomes led a five-person crew — Fabian, Ronaldo, Rodrigo, Luiz, and Jimmy — through a full reroof finished in a single day. A homeowner with a 100-plus-year-old house says Farina has fixed several roofing and gutter problems over time, most recently under supervisor Vini. Another, restoring a historic craftsman house, chose Farina after talking to three gutter contractors specifically because the new aluminum gutters could be matched to the house's own trim color and style. That kind of specific, named-supervisor detail runs through 381 reviews stretching back to 2015 across eight review sites. The complaints that surface are pointed. One customer says a $1,600 quote for a roof repair came in more than double a $650 job from another roofer. Another found six sheets of plywood they had been billed $150 apiece for thrown in the trash rather than returned or credited. A nearly $33,000 reroof reportedly stalled for months after the contract was signed — the permit process dragged, work didn't start until January, and communication grew inconsistent along the way. Separately, leftover nails from an old gutter tear-off were left scattered across a driveway and punctured a tire, with no resolution offered when the homeowner asked for a small discount. Farina holds an A rating and accreditation with the Better Business Bureau, alongside four complaints on file there. Most of what people call RB Farina for — full reroofs, storm and ice-dam repairs, gutter and fascia replacement — gets finished on schedule with a supervisor who answers questions along the way. Before signing anything sizable, get the price and any allowance for materials like plywood or siding boards spelled out in writing, since that's where the sharpest disputes have come from.

Our supervisor, Kevyn and his crew did a great job on our roof deck. It looks amazing, and we’re excited to be able to use it now. Kevyn’s communication was excellent, explaining the process and answering all our questions promptly.

I was happy with the gutter, fascia and soffit replacement work and<br>the customer service from the team, including Vinicius, Kevin and Yago. I think the AI aspect of the phone and text communications needs a bit of work.

The company staff I communicated with were very professional and pleasant. Their crew did a great job with repairing the wind damage to my roof. They were clean and thorough and finish the job ahead of schedule! They even discounted me parts of the job they did not need to do from the initial estimate. I am so pleased with their work! I highly recommend them and I will use them in the future if need be. Thank you Jose and Francisco!
