Nearly every Google review of this Acton-based Marvin replacement branch names somebody: Bob, Marc, Artem, Jay, Darren, Frank. Across 127 Google ratings averaging 4.9, that is the pattern — homeowners describing a particular project manager and a particular install crew rather than a company. The work is one thing, done repeatedly: replacing windows and patio doors, usually a whole house at a time. A March 2025 customer replaced more than 30 windows after also quoting Pella and Andersen through Home Depot. A September 2025 job covered 21 windows and two sliders. A February 2025 reviewer had full-frame replacements fitted to a 1780s house and measured the result, reporting two to four extra inches of glass per opening and no draft where a one-year-old competitor window still leaked in wind. The follow-through gets described as often as the installation. In a February 2026 review, a homeowner wrote that the project manager returned twice for quality-control inspections, corrected items and reordered screens. A September 2025 crew demolished a bay window, swapped in a picture window and patched the surrounding soffit. Two recent complaints deserve weight. In a May 2026 review, a customer who ordered in August 2025 and paid $12,000 up front described an October install date that slipped, with calls and emails going unanswered before being told the hold-up was the town's historic district. On Houzz in March 2026, another customer said three sets of doors all had problems and took 14 follow-up messages and nine months to fix. A November 2025 reviewer separately called the door-to-door canvassers rude. Those are the negatives inside a last-six-months window that holds eight reviews. Price comes up plainly, from customers rather than from marketing: a November 2025 reviewer put it as expensive but worth what was paid, and a November 2025 commenter in a r/massachusetts thread listed a $56,000 quote from Marvin replacement for fiberglass windows. The written history runs 2019 to 2026 across four sources, and it splits by platform — 4.9 on Google against 4.0 on Houzz, where only four people have written. If you want fiberglass replacement windows and a crew that comes back to check its own work, they belong on the list. Get the install date in writing, find out who your project manager will be, and ask what happens if a permit or historic-district review moves the schedule — that is where the unhappy customers ended up.
“Marvin replacement: fiberglass windows - 56k”
They were super frim start ro finish
I recently had new Marvin windows installed in the front of my house and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From start to finish, everyone involved in the project was fantastic, and a pleasure to work with. The installation team did an excellent job and worked carefully and efficiently. Anytime I had a question, someone got back to me right away, which made me very happy. I would recommend Marvin windows to anyone considering new ones for their home.
We’re extremely pleased with the final result and truly couldn’t be happier to have had Darren leading our project onsite. Jay and Marc have also been excellent to work with—professional, respectful, and attentive to detail throughout the process. The three of them, along with Darren’s team, really made the entire experience exceptional for us.
Well the opposite of course of what happened: Great window product. Are they understaffed? August 2025 placed window order in New England. Paid 12k for half. Product estimated to de installed in October. October 25 called to ask about the install date as I was told 6-8 weeks for them to be made. Emailed and called a few times to Jeremy. No response. I call several times. No response. I call the salesperson and he helps look into it. Someone finally got back to me to say they were waiting on my town’s historic district, that this was the hold up due to being in a historic district. So I call the town. Town said to me they don’t have me in the system, no communication from Marvin. There has been no application in my name. I call Marvin’s salesperson again. The job got lost. OK. Then I am told the new install date would be January sometime. They had a lot of customers already in the system and they couldn’t possibly fast track me to get me in. I said I’d like a discount for my trouble. Marvin salesperson offers me $500 for the problem. This is on an order of 7 windows for 24k. I got just $1000 back for this massive mishap. The windows come in Feb 2026. The pine trim looks terrible like it is a specked pine - definitely not select grade. It looks like it has splotches of oil all over it. The new trim comes - I ordered oak and made sure it was select oak. Looks so much better. Just when I think my project is over … I ask to finance the last 50%. I am approved for $12,000 and I sign a loan document that the salesperson walked me through. Then the salesperson calls to say the amount financed has to be the exact amount due of $11,965 or whatever the final amount is. I walk through the application with the salesperson again. It was approved the second time just like the first time. A month later the company sends an email asking for payment. Jeremy texted me to ask again for the payment. I said that I signed a loan document with the salesperson — twice — and to go hit up the finance company. I haven’t heard anything from anyone at Marvin, for example we’re sorry we screwed up again and didn’t recall I was financed. Project manager Jeremy seemed overworked or else incompetent. Salesperson should have had some oversight so my order didn't get lost. I mean they took my $12 deposit in August. There should have been a product order esp since I signed off on the product documents and the materials across my windows. How does an order disappear? Why weren’t my multiple voicemail messages to Jeremy the project manager responded to? I had to track down the salesperson to get a response. Not happy with the overall experience and will probably never do business with Marvin ever again. $1000 off? It should have been $4000 off for what I’ve been through. As much of the commission as possible. I may be a small customer with 7 windows but I am sure this review will cost Marvin Infinity new customers. It’s too bad. The end product is great. I have front door and 7 more windows I can replace. I don’t believe I will be using Marvin Infinity again.
Did window replacements including changing the window size to make it larger than that was originally installed by the previous owner. Project manager Bob was thorough from installment to finish- made sure everything was perfect and satisfactory. Design consultant Bill was very helpful in constructing a design that suits the best for my building. Highly recommend!
