The company is Foster Plumbing & Heating Inc., but almost nobody calls it that. Its own site leads with the name people actually use — Call Mike The Plumber — and the tagline underneath it: "No job too small. Just call." That is also how it surfaced. In an August 2021 r/boston thread about cedar siding, someone volunteered the plumber they use: "Mike Foster (Mike the Plumber) and he's wonderful. He's based out of Hull but goes all over the place." Unprompted, in a thread about a completely different trade. Its Massachusetts plumbing licence, number 3979-PL-C, is registry-verified active. The work spans repairs and fixture swaps, boiler replacement, radiant systems and heat calls, gas fitting, bathroom and kitchen remodels, tankless water heaters and filtration, and full plumbing and heating for new builds. The one number worth treating carefully is the "507 Five-Star Reviews" the site advertises. That is the company's own claim on its own page — no platform review history was found to check it against, so it should not be read as an independently verified score. A sensible call for South Shore plumbing and heating, especially the small jobs bigger outfits decline. Ask where those 507 reviews live so you can read them, and get the boiler or remodel scope in writing.
