1,798 Google ratings averaging 4.8 — A. Fagundes is not a two-truck operation. It is a staffed Tyngsborough shop covering plumbing and HVAC together, and the tell is how often customers write about a specific person: Steve Dudley, Miles, Eddie Smith, James, Ryan, Sonith, Jorge Baiz, Brian Dunn, Olivia at the front desk, Bobby scoping a system replacement. People remember who came. The work that shows up most is cooling and heat pumps. Mini-split servicing and line-set replacements, multi-zone installs done over two days, a dual-zone heat pump tied back into a Viessmann boiler, AC tune-ups run in ninety-degree heat. The plumbing side is the call-now half — a July 2026 customer with a ceiling starting to drip on a Friday afternoon had someone out the same day, and another in May 2026 got a leaking water heater fixed the next morning. Several mention buying the membership plan after their third or fourth call in a year. What repeatedly earns the praise is the explaining: technicians walking through options, flagging a 22-year-old capacitor before it fails, going to fetch a part rather than rebooking. Its Massachusetts plumbing licence is active, its BBB grade is A+, and a 2024 r/massachusetts thread listed it among three heating and cooling companies worth calling in the Merrimack Valley. The friction is at the office, not on the truck. A June 2026 customer had an AC tune-up cancelled three times, the last without a phone call, and said they were done with the company. Another in May 2026 came away without the quotes promised after a diagnostic visit, with a part on order and no timeline. A third, in May 2026, gave two stars over the AI answering service that fields incoming calls — while saying plainly that the technicians themselves are qualified. Pricing draws the occasional flag too: a July 2026 reviewer called a leak repair more than hoped for, while being satisfied with the work. Thumbtack's 4.5 across 145 ratings also runs a step below the Google picture. For AC, heat pump and mini-split work, or a plumbing emergency where somebody actually answers, this is a solid call in the Merrimack Valley. Confirm your appointment the day before, and get the quote in writing after the diagnostic visit — before any part gets ordered.

Had a good and positive experience with a leak issue seeping into basement. Ryan was diligent finding the leak source and upfront about repair, estimates etc. Pricing was, found to be more than I had hoped for, not sure what other pros would have charged for same repair. Overall good experience

Highly Recommended!!! The level of Professionalism & Integrity of this company is astounding. A Fagundes did a complete Re-Install of my Dual Zone, Heat Pump, Integration with my Viessman Boiler (Back up for extreme Cold), and brand new air handlers. The technicians that showed up were Polite, Courteous, Punctual, Communicative, and best of all Really Good at their Craft! This was a big job and it took 2 1/2 days to get it done. I could not be happier with their work! to make it even better.... the Owner followed up with my multiple times during the project to make sure things were going well.

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Ryan. He was prompt arriving, very professional, and was patient with me. After my Mitsubishi split was installed, he spent time to go over the features and we tried to download the app.
