A snack shack that had to open on schedule, a two-car garage floor brought back from bare concrete, a cracked pool deck patched before a graduation party — the jobs people describe hiring Epoxy Floors Boston for are all deadline-shaped. The company describes itself as a small family-run concrete coatings outfit working out of Boston and down the South Shore, installing epoxy, flake, metallic and polyaspartic systems on garages, basements, patios and commercial floors. It says it has been at this for more than 20 years and that the owner answers the phone and works the jobs himself. The review history is short but consistent. Five Google ratings, all five stars, and the one name that keeps surfacing is Joel — credited in May for a garage floor rejuvenation a homeowner called meticulous and fairly priced. The commercial job stands out for a different reason: a customer with what they called an impossible timeline wrote "if I could give 10 stars I would," noting the crew kept the space clean and flaked the floor in the team's colors rather than cutting corners to hit the date. Another described sending photos and having Joel out to walk the options in person within hours, without a push to sign. What should temper that is volume. Five reviews is a thin foundation for any verdict, and they cluster into a few months of 2026 rather than spanning years of work. A separate listing on addyp.com puts the business at 4.7 stars from six reviews, so the perfect Google record is not the whole picture. The company is listed as a Boston Chamber of Commerce member, but nothing here establishes an independently verified license or insurance status — worth asking for directly. If you want a coating crew that will scope a garage, basement or patio slab in person and work to a fixed date, the recent accounts point that way. Ask for proof of insurance and a written scope covering surface prep and topcoat before you book, since the difference between an epoxy floor that lasts and one that peels is almost entirely in the grinding and the layers underneath.

We bought a new to us house with a pool a few years ago and knew eventually we wanted to update the surrounding pool area and patio area because of the aged look and several hazardous cracks in both. We originally planned to wait until next year because of all the other house projects, but after getting a recommendation for Epoxy Floors, we decided to see what our options were before our daughter’s graduation college party. One quick phone call, a few pictures sent, and Joel came out within hours to look at everything in person. He walked us through all of our options, never pressured us, respected our budget, and explained every step of the process. We mentioned hoping it could be completed before the graduation party, and they delivered exactly as promised. Even with weather delays and us adding a few extra areas, they finished on time and did amazing work. Joel helped us choose colors that would look great while also reducing heat from the sun, kept us updated throughout the project, took pride in every detail, and left everything spotless when they finished. Attaches is a before and after photo of the project. We truly could not be happier with the results. If you’re looking for a company that is honest, hardworking, responsive, and does breathtaking work, I highly recommend them(Joel and family) We will absolutely be using them again for future projects! 🙌🏻🏡☀️🏊‍♀️

Whoo boy. If I could give 10 stars I would. We had an impossible job with an impossible timeline and they delivered. Our snack shack wouldn’t have opened on time without them. Given the challenges, you’d assume cut corners, but no! The floor looks amazing, the space was kept clean, and they even when above and beyond to flake the floor in our team colors!
