Garage Floor Coating of Boston does one thing, and its reviewers keep saying it does it well: epoxy and polyaspartic coatings that turn a pitted, dusty concrete slab — a garage, a basement, a workshop — into a sealed, glossy floor you can park on within days. Based in Milton and serving Greater Boston, the company has piled up 323 Google ratings at a 5.0 average, one of the deeper and more consistent review records you'll find in this trade. The name that comes up again and again is Brian, the rep most customers deal with from estimate to finish. Recent reviews describe the same arc: a clear, no-pressure estimate, a two-day install, and a floor that transforms the space. One homeowner who upgraded their garage this June had it finished within two days of the crew starting, on a friend's recommendation. People single out the up-front education — options, flake colors, and the grind-epoxy-topcoat process explained plainly — and how tidy the crews are. The company's own history is worth understanding. Its site traces the flooring roots to founder Jim Rutecki, a Boston native in paint and flooring since the 1970s and specializing in epoxy since 2008. But the business changed hands in 2021 — the current owner says he acquired it and has since doubled it in size — and Angi lists it as having just five years of experience. So the brand is older than the current ownership, and the strong recent record is largely built under the new team. One thing to keep in mind: this is a coating specialist, not a general remodeler. It installs and coats concrete floors rather than laying hardwood or tile, and it advertises a multi-year guarantee that, by multiple accounts, it honors. As with any epoxy, plan on a curing window of a couple of days before you can walk or park on the finished floor. If you want a durable, good-looking garage, basement, or commercial floor and value a smooth, well-communicated process, this is a heavily-reviewed local choice. Ask for the specific coating system — epoxy versus polyaspartic — what surface prep is included, and the guarantee terms in writing before you book.

In June of this year we decided to upgrade the look of our garage. Several of our friends used Garage Floor Coating of Boston for their epoxy floors. We contacted Brian at Garage Floors. He came out to our home, gave us an estimate and within two days of the start of work we had a beautiful durable new floor. His workers were easy to work with. They arrived promptly, Told us what they would be doing and we couldn’t be happier with our new floor! We Recommend this
Company wholeheartedly!
Elaine & Alan Brodeur
June, 2026

I had the pleasure of Garage Floor Coating of Boston installing a coating last year and they did an amazing job. I compared their prices to their competition and they delivered a fantastic product at a better price. Every part of the process from quote to install was well communicated, delivered and exceeded my expectation.

At no fault of theirs I had to have some work done to my garage and unfortunately the floor was damaged in one small area. I felt bad and wasn't sure that they would do such a small repair. To my great surprise they quickly returned my call and came out right away and professionally fixed the small damaged area. You cannot even tell they ever repaired it. The communication, service and results for repairs were also exceptional.

Great people, price and service! Highly recommend.
