ARC Flooring and Tile is Andre Ruest's operation — a flooring specialist who says he's been at it since 1986 and holds CFI certification across sheet goods, laminate, engineered wood, hardwood, carpet, tile, and stone. The business runs small, out of Peabody, with roughly 1 to 10 employees, and is listed on Procore's contractor network as handling carpeting, flooring, resilient flooring, and tile for both homes and commercial clients like healthcare and institutional buildings around the North Shore and Greater Boston. The number that stands out is 4.9 stars across 33 Google ratings, and the reviews back it up with specifics rather than just enthusiasm. One hotel kept coming back for two years straight, running 7 bathroom tile jobs and 4 vinyl floor installs through Andre's crew. Homeowners describe the same pattern repeatedly: measured and in the showroom the same week they called, no runaround on price or timing, and installers who stay on a job instead of splitting time across sites. Work over the last several months has covered hardwood refinishing with staircase paint removal and other flooring jobs, all landing five stars with nothing negative reported. It isn't a spotless record, though. One review describes a stalled quote — measurements taken, a promised timeline that slipped, and a dismissive response when the customer pushed for an answer. That's worth asking about directly: get a firm date for your quote before you commit to waiting on one. Also worth noting, the business address appears differently across a couple of directories in Peabody, so confirm the current shop location before a showroom visit. This is a solid call for hardwood refinishing, new floor installs, tile work, or a kitchen backsplash — residential or commercial — especially if you want to see materials in a showroom before committing. Given the volume and consistency of the praise, there's a real track record here; just push for a clear timeline on your initial quote.

Andre’s crew did an amazing job refinishing our hardwood floors and removing paint from our staircase. We are very pleased with how the work turned out and the price was affordable for our budget. We highly recommend Arc Flooring!

We’ve used arc tile for our commercial hotel. They did 7 bathrooms over two years and 4 vinyl floors. Absolutely amazing work. Love their selection. Couldn’t recommend them more!

Very knowledgeable and easy to work with! Andre helped us with our selection and we chose a wide plank engineered oak wood floor which replaced a floating wood floor.<br>He worked around our schedule and the installation was professional. Very happy with our purchase.

I highly recommend Andre for all floor and tile needs! He was professional, responsive, and had us measured and in the show room to select what we wanted the same week I reached out. There was no run around about timing or price. He worked with our timeline and his installing team completed our floors without being split between another job/taking unnecessary breaks. We so appreciate the work they did and will definitely be using Andre again in the future!
