One wrote that after comparing four contractors, Dan was the obvious choice and the price was competitive. Another, mid-renovation in 2016, described DMG working through a complicated Kohler shower system and absorbing last-minute changes to the plans. Two things to raise before you book. Nothing new has been written about this company on any of these sites since September 2016, so there is no current public account of the work. And one 2016 customer, happy with the result, said the job cost more than expected for the amount of work involved and advised asking upfront how many hours it would take — worth doing. BuildZoom's profile also still carries a 'no active license on file' alert and lists Massachusetts records it marks inactive or once cancelled; those are that site's own unverified entries, and the state registry shows the licence active. This is the shop for a South Shore homeowner with a specific, stubborn problem — a leak nobody can trace, a water heater misbehaving — rather than for anyone assembling a large remodel crew. Pin down hourly rates when you call, and ask for a couple of recent references, since the public reviews stop a decade back.
