CUI Floors installs floors — it does not sell them off a showroom rack. Carpets Unlimited runs its own in-house installation crews out of Danvers and puts down carpet, vinyl plank, hardwood, tile, rubber and epoxy, and it sands and refinishes wood floors too. The thing to understand before calling is who they build their business around. Their own site aims squarely at property managers, developers, architects and general contractors, and describes their specialty as large multi-family complexes, commercial properties and new construction. A LinkedIn sales page frames the same focus: multifamily, senior living, retail and hospitality, with occupied renovations as a selling point. They are not a small shop. The company says it has been in flooring for over 40 years and has served multi-family and new construction since 1982, now operating from seven locations across eleven states from New England down through the Mid-Atlantic. LinkedIn describes it as owned and operated by the Wirwicz family across two generations, with installation teams kept in-house rather than subcontracted out. The customer trail is thin for a company this size. Google shows 4.6 stars from 10 ratings, and the handful of written reviews come mostly from the business side — one recent reviewer describes an organization that has done a great deal of work with them and praises consistent quality and responsiveness. Five reviews spread from 2023 to 2026 is not much to judge a 44-year-old contractor on. Sources also disagree on the basics. Founding shows up as both 1980 and 1982 depending on where you look, location counts range from six to seven, and one listing calls the company woman-owned while LinkedIn calls it a two-generation family business. The right call if you are a property manager, developer or builder who needs flooring across many units on a schedule, and they advertise next-day installation for exactly that. A single homeowner replacing one room's floor is not who they are set up for — ask up front whether they take residential jobs your size, and get the quote and installation window in writing.
