Viking Moving Services is a Concord, Massachusetts outfit that says it's been moving New England households since 1992 — a claim backed by an unusually deep, unusually clean review history: 104 Google ratings averaging 4.9, and not a single negative review among the 13 posted since January. Family-owned and run from a small fleet (five trucks, five drivers, according to one carrier-safety listing), Viking handles local and long-distance household moves, office relocations, and both traditional and portable (POD) storage across MetroWest and Greater Boston. What repeats across dozens of reviews is precision under pressure — jobs finishing under the quoted time or budget, movers who show up when they said they would, and a manager named Taran whom customers credit by name for walking through complicated moves. A recent review described a move split across two locations that also needed Viking to hold goods in storage; another, from June, praised a crew that packaged and transported everything on schedule while taking precautions against damage. A July review said simply that the crew delivered on time and under the estimated budget — a small claim, but one that echoes across years of reviews rather than a single lucky job. Viking is not BBB accredited, even though BBB has given it an A+ letter grade — worth knowing since the two facts can look contradictory at a glance. Beyond that, there isn't much in its recent record to second-guess: no complaint, damage claim, or scheduling failure turns up anywhere in the last six months of reviews. For a local or interstate household move — especially one complicated by multiple stops or a need for interim storage — Viking's recent history here reads about as clean as a moving company's gets. Still worth confirming pricing directly, since a couple of reviews mention a cash-payment discount informally rather than as posted policy.

Crew delivered on time and under estimated budget. The three movers were courteous, professional, and had seemingly endless energy. They were awesome. Will use again if we ever move!

Viking Moving was super easy to schedule, contact, and communicate with. The movers were on time, were very fast at packaging and transporting my stuff. They took precautions to make sure all items were not damaged during the move. I Definitely would recommend them if you need movers.
