A seller who wasn't in the room for any of it got a closed sale in under six weeks — property review, renovations, staging, furniture hauled out, final cleaning, and negotiations with two buyers, all run by the team while the owner handled paperwork from elsewhere. That is the shape of job The Rasner Group keeps turning up in: the sale where someone needs the whole thing managed, not just a lockbox on the door. The team describes itself as a Boston-based residential operation representing buyers and sellers across Greater Boston, led by agent Ilya Rasner and working alongside Kimberly and Kristine. Those three names show up over and over in what clients write, usually split by role — Ilya on strategy and negotiation, the others coordinating the moving parts. On Google the average is 5 stars across 28 ratings, and the written history runs 19 reviews from 2021 through 2026 across three places, three of them in the last six months and none of them negative. The most telling one isn't a rave, it's a return trip: a buyer came back to work with the team a second time, eight years after they'd bought their first home with him. The hardest job in the recent batch came from an executor settling an estate. The house belonged to a relative who was a serious hoarder and needed substantial repairs before it could sell; the team lined up names for every trade the property required, then steered the sale through an FHA deal that added another layer of work. What the executor kept coming back to was that they communicated regularly and acted on his behalf rather than their own commission. So the thing worth pinning down before you sign is scope. The praise here is largely about coordination — vendors, repairs, staging, cleanouts, closing logistics — and none of the accounts spell out which pieces the team arranges versus which ones land on your invoice, so ask. Ask too who runs your file day to day, since these accounts credit different people with different parts of the work. If you're selling an inherited property, managing a sale from out of state, or otherwise need someone to hold the whole project rather than just list it, this is a reasonable call. Confirm the vendor and cost arrangement in writing, and get clear on your point of contact before you hand over the keys.

This is our second time working with Ilya since he was our realtor for our first home buying process as well 8 years ago. We had the pleasure of working with him again along with Kimberly and Kristine, who were amazing as well. They are a great team together all making it as efficient, organized, and seamless as possible in an otherwise highly stressful time. Thank you for your continued patience & expertise working with us to buy our long term home!!

I was not present during the sale process, so the complete process from initial property review to closing, including necessary renovations, staging, furniture disposal and final cleaning was handled by Mr Rasner and his team. The process was performed very efficiently and fast, it was finished in less than 6 weeks including negotiations with two potential buyers and 2 weeks I needed to prepare necessary documents. I am extreamly satisfied and would gladly recommend Mr. Rasner and his team.

Ilya and Kimberly are the absolute best. I was the executor for an estate of an ill relative who was a massive hoarder and whose house required tremendous repairs to make saleable. Kimberly and Ilya managed the entire project providing me with multiple names for each job necessary. If that was not enough the house became an FHA deal and that required extra work. They communicated regularly, acted in my behalf and not the behalf of their wallets. I have bought and sold a great many homes and have never dealt with anyone better than them. Don't hesitate they are the best AND they are really nice people to deal with.

I can’t recommend Ilya and his team highly enough! From start to finish, they made the home buying process not only seamless but genuinely enjoyable. Ilya strikes the perfect balance between professionalism and approachability, always responsive, incredibly knowledgeable, and with a great sense of humor that puts you at ease. His entire team mirrors that same level of excellence and care. If you’re looking for an agent who’s on top of every detail and makes the journey fun along the way, Ilya is the one to call!

Working with Ilya and Kimberly was an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. As a first-time buyer, I had high expectations, and they exceeded every one of them. THANK YOU BOTH!
