The Glass Guy has been fabricating and installing glass work out of East Weymouth since 1995, by its own account, covering the Greater Boston area, Cape Cod, and Southeastern Massachusetts. Legally it operates as Atlantic Shower Door, Inc. — the name shows up across its BBB and Houzz listings — and its bread and butter, judging by both the praise and the one real complaint on file, is custom shower door and glass enclosure work; aluminum storefronts, entry systems, mirrors, and handrails round out the rest. The clearest recent signal is a five-star Google review from a fellow contractor, who calls the company his 'go to' for custom and unusual glass products and credits the staff's product knowledge — the kind of repeat-business endorsement that carries weight from someone who buys glass professionally. Its BBB profile backs that up with an A+ rating and accredited status. Houzz tells an older, more mixed story: two reviewers praise shower door work that has held up well over the years, but one describes installation problems with frameless shower doors and a disagreement over who should cover the repair. It's a real quality complaint, not just a scheduling gripe — though it's dated, and it's one voice out of just four reviews found since 2014. There's no track record yet on Angi or HomeAdvisor, and review volume anywhere is thin — four reviews across a decade isn't much to judge a 31-year-old business by. Worth asking about before booking: how they'd handle a shower door that doesn't seat right the first time, and getting any repair costs in writing up front. For a straightforward glass or shower enclosure job from a long-tenured, BBB-accredited shop, they're a reasonable call — just don't skip the walkthrough at installation.

My 'GO TO' Glass company Great service from top notch knowledgeable staff. As a contractor, regularly requiring custom and unusual glass products... I depend on a glass company like this. 👍👍👍👍👍

Had Atlantic Shower Door install a new shower door enclosure for a master bath remodel back in ~2010; craftsmanship and quality of work was excellent and almost 10 years later the enclosure quality is still outstanding. Highly recommends them.

Had 2 frameless showers installed; both had installation problems (doors would not close). They sent someone back 3 times on the first door at no charge and got it right, but now want $165 to repair poor installation on the second door, which has only been used 2-3 times.

Owner has many years of experience in the glass shower door business and has trained his workers well; they go above and beyond on quality. They have replaced windshields (the glass guy), installed a mirrored backsplash in the kitchen, and installed shower doors. Highly recommends the company.
