TAMC Construction is a Weymouth carpentry and remodeling shop that Terry and Alessandra Martins say they've run as a family business since 2004, working carpentry, kitchen and bath remodels, and deck and porch builds across the South Shore — towns from Weymouth and Braintree down to Brockton, Hingham, and Scituate, by their own account. On Google, the company sits at 4.8 stars across 36 ratings, part of a broader run of 33 reviews spanning six sources since 2021. Several clients come back more than once: in May, a repeat customer called a second project with them 'outstanding and consistent' after TAMC installed shiplap on a kitchen ceiling, with a bathroom renovation lined up next. In April, a couple who hired TAMC for a full gut renovation said the pair 'stayed on top of everything' and kept the many moving pieces of the job coordinated without major delays. By February, another family was back for a third project — refinishing floors and repainting an entire house — after Terry and Alessandra came recommended within the family the first time around. Not every account is glowing. TAMC carries an A+ letter grade with the Better Business Bureau, though it isn't BBB-accredited, and the Bureau's file also records a dispute that never got resolved: a customer described water intruding through a wall after a remodel, weeks of delay getting anyone out to look at it, and disagreement over who would pay to fix it. That is worth raising directly before signing anything, especially on work where water intrusion or hidden damage is a real risk, so you know upfront how a callback gets handled if something turns up after the crew leaves. For a South Shore homeowner planning a kitchen, bath, or deck project, TAMC reads as a small, repeat-hire operation rather than a large outfit — most of what people describe is the same two people showing up and staying communicative through the job. Confirm current licensing and insurance directly, and ask specifically how they would handle a post-completion issue before booking anything larger than a single room.

We have worked twice with this company. Their service has been outstanding and consistent. I would highly recommend this company .They also installed ship lab to the roof of my kitchen. I couldn’t be happier! Next project with them will be a bathroom renovation.

We recently had Alessandra and Terry handle a full gut renovation on our home, and they were honestly great to work with. From the start, they stayed on top of everything and kept the whole project moving along without any major delays. They coordinated all the different pieces really well, which made a big difference because a project like this can get chaotic fast. Communication was easy, and we always felt like we knew what was going on.Most importantly, the work came out unbelievable! Overall, just a really amazing experience, we’d definitely recommend them.

I highly recommend TAMC Construction. They were wonderful to work with! They were extremely clean, professional, hardworking, patient and made sure everything was what I wanted. They did a full bathroom renovation as well as custom built in shelves. I would absolutely hire them again!

I was unfortunate to hire this company to remodel a small room in my house in brockton as soon as the job was done , water started soaking through the new wall they erected.I kept calling them to come see the water , finally the husband showed up after over a month, he told me to wait after another rain to call him, so I did , he came back put a hole in the ceiling .and left , water still soak through the wall, I called again and I could feel the wife was annoyed. Both of them showed up in December 1st and I told her this a mess here , she said you right it is a mess but we can not fix it because we did not touched the roof , I told her that I never had water before they touched the room she replied that I did not water because I did not have sheetrock,, and they both left. Now I am out close to $10000, a room full of molds. I find it unfair for this people to take my money and find every excuse to not fix it .
