That average isn't resting on a handful of reviews from years ago — it holds across more than three years of ratings, and the pattern in the last several months is the same story on repeat. A June review of a full deck rebuild described the crew as "professional, punctual, and paid attention to every detail from start to finish"; another from the same stretch praised quick responses from the office and a supervisor who showed up on time. In February, one customer wrote that the crew shoveled two to three feet of snow off the site, twice, just to keep a deck resurfacing project on its original schedule through a rough winter. The same names turn up again and again in these reviews — Ben handling estimates and staying involved through completion, with Nick and Chuckie doing the actual building — which points to a small, consistent crew rather than a rotating cast of subcontractors. One thing worth asking about before booking: outside of Google there isn't much independent review content. A Yahoo local listing and a couple of directory pages repeat the same basic details — deck builder, Braintree, same address and phone — but none of them carry reviews of their own. That doesn't undercut what's on Google, it just means the day-to-day reputation currently rests almost entirely on one platform. Before signing anything, get specifics in writing on the composite materials and any workmanship warranty — neither came up in any of the reviews on file.
