Siena Construction has been building out labs and offices around Cambridge and Greater Boston since 1991, and thirty-five years later that's still the core of the work: wet labs, dry labs, lab-office hybrids, commercial office interiors, academic facilities, healthcare institutes, and historic restorations, by its own account. Based on Sidney Street in Cambridge, the company says its projects run through Kendall Square, downtown Boston, Back Bay, and the wider metro — institutional, occupied-building work rather than typical home remodeling. The clearest recent read comes from a detailed Google review this spring calling the team reliable and professional "from their laborers to the project managers," and singling out their experience with bio-tech labs and office interior build-outs specifically. A second, shorter review the same season adds another thumbs-up. Beyond Google, the company carries an A+ grade from the Better Business Bureau, and turns up in trade profiles on Bluebook and Siteline that describe it as one of the more respected construction managers in New England. Worth knowing before calling: the review record everywhere is thin. Google and Birdeye each show only six ratings, and the two disagree — 4.3 stars on Google against 3.7 on Birdeye off what looks like the same six. And despite the A+ grade, Siena isn't a BBB-accredited business, which mainly means it hasn't gone through BBB's own vetting process rather than anything about the work itself. This reads like the right call for a lab build-out, an occupied-building office renovation, or an institutional project that needs a contractor comfortable working around active tenants and regulated space — less so for a typical single-family remodel, which isn't in evidence here at all. With so few independent reviews on record, it's worth asking for references from a project similar in scope before signing anything.

I have worked with Siena Construction extensively and they are extremely reliable and professional. From their laborers to the project managers and beyond, Siena Construction is dependable for construction renovation. They are highly knowledgeable about bio-tech labs and their office interior build-outs are spectacular.
