Both people who wrote about Reinold Contracting called it for electricity, not a remodel. In January 2019 another wrote that Dan picked up the phone himself, was there by 8am the next morning, traced two dead bedrooms to a burnt-out socket, replaced it, and charged $135 for the call, the diagnosis and the part. That is the whole written history — two accounts, both five stars, both now several years old. Google shows 5 stars from two ratings. The company's own site sells something broader: kitchens, bathrooms, basements and attics, porches and decks, windows and doors, cabinets, countertops, tile, flooring, framing, painting and electrical, with Daniel Reinold as the only named contact. BuildZoom files the same Humphrey Street address and the same phone under the name 'James Reinold Construction', counting 92 projects and a permit trail that runs heavily to electrical service upgrades and panel work across Boston, Dorchester, Brighton, Malden, Quincy and Belmont, plus a 2020 Revere conversion of a one-family into a two-family. One thing to check yourself: the Massachusetts registration number, 154816, comes from the company's own site and from BuildZoom's listing, and neither is a state check. BuildZoom also carries several older Reinold registrations as inactive or cancelled, one last verified with a 2016 expiry. Ask which registration is current and confirm it with the state before you sign anything. Best fit is an electrical fault or a panel upgrade on an older North Shore house — the picking-up-the-phone responsiveness those two homeowners described is what you'd be buying. For a full kitchen or bath, ask to walk a recently finished one.
