The work itself is erosion control, demolition, site work and utilities, landscaping and related supplies. It runs as a union shop by its own description — operators through IUOE Local 4, laborers and wreckers through LIUNA — with BBB recording 18 employees and Marcia Mc Cloud as owner. Two credentials hold up against the state registry rather than resting on the website alone. The Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office shows an active Women Business Enterprise certification, number 20050042, running to March 2029, and an active Disadvantaged Business Enterprise certification under the same number, both held by Ramco Survey Stakes Co., Inc. What is thin is anything a homeowner could judge the crew by. Google carries 4.1 stars from seven ratings and one written line, from 2022: "Good business to use." BBB lists the company as Not Rated, saying it lacks sufficient information, and it is not accredited. A Law360 listing also carries a case captioned Massachusetts Laborers' Health and Welfare Fund et al v. Ramco Survey Stake Co, Inc., with no date or outcome attached — a thing to ask about directly rather than to read anything into. The dates don't line up either: BBB records a business start of 1 January 2001, while the company's own site says ten years in business. This is a contractor built for site work, demolition and erosion control on a contracted job, and the active DBE and WBE certifications matter on projects with participation requirements. For residential work, ask for recent job references you can call, and get the scope and price in writing before anything moves.
