Primo Moving is a South Boston-based residential mover that says it's spent more than 5 years handling local and interstate moves, packing, and labor-only jobs — the kind of call where someone needs a truck loaded, boxes packed, or a couch carried up a few flights, not a large-scale commercial relocation. The company reports serving over 3,000 customers and lists coverage from Boston out to Newton, Weston, Wellesley, Chestnut Hill, Cape Cod, Somerville and Cambridge, plus interstate runs to New Hampshire, Rhode Island, New York, Florida and Maine. The ratings it has picked up so far are uniformly positive: a perfect 5 stars across 20 Google reviewers and 4.7 stars from 7 on Thumbtack, where one customer called the crew quick, efficient and no-nonsense. Independent moving-review sites echo the same read, describing a team that handles belongings carefully and shows up on time. It's a modest but clean track record — roughly two dozen ratings spread across five sources between 2023 and 2025 — without a negative pattern turning up anywhere in it. One thing worth confirming before booking: a HireAHelper listing places the business in Medford rather than the South Boston address on its own site, so it's worth asking which location and crew would actually be assigned to your move. The review count is also still on the smaller side, so the good pattern so far hasn't been tested at real volume yet. For a local move or a flat-rate trip along the coast, the ratings so far make Primo Moving a reasonable first call — just confirm the servicing location given the Medford/South Boston mismatch, and nail down the crew and truck size for your specific job.

Thank you Primo! Had such a great experience with your crew including Noah, Sam and Zack! They were promptly on time, communicative prior to, clear on payment, super flexible, treated us like humans, kind and so strong! We were very impressed with how fast they finished unloading our uhaul! In such a jam and stressful time, i’m so glad Primo was able to help us and they truly were worth every penny!

I couldn't have asked for a better group of movers, they were incredibly fast, had to walk a million miles from the truck to my apartment since the building only lets you use the service elevator, and they were respectful of my belongings! I will definitely use them again for my next move. Thank you so much!
