Premium Q Moving and Storage is a Medford-based mover working the Boston area (and, per its own site, Tampa, FL) with local, long-distance, piano, and storage moves — the kind of range that shows up across seventy-some reviews stretching back to 2015. Ratings cluster tightly in the high 4s everywhere you look: 4.8 on Google, 4.9 on Thumbtack, 4.6 on both Angi and HomeAdvisor, and an independent aggregator score placing it in the top tier of Massachusetts movers. What people keep coming back to is speed and care with awkward, heavy items — pianos, organs, antiques — moves reviewers across multiple sites single out as handled without damage. That reputation holds up recently, too: a February 2026 review described a crew that was "on the ball" and cleared a two-bedroom apartment in under an hour. But the newest mark on the record is a serious one. An April 2026 review described a scheduled noon-to-4pm arrival window that stretched to 7:30pm, with the crew not finishing until 11:30pm, and calls to management going unanswered for hours beforehand — the kind of overbooking complaint that would worry anyone planning a tight move-out day. It's an outlier against the broader pattern, but a recent one. Older reviews on Angi and HomeAdvisor include occasional gripes about crews running slow or a job costing more than quoted, and at least one long-distance move drew a detailed complaint about organizational mixups that the owner disputed at length in a public reply — worth asking about directly if your move is interstate rather than local. The company's own materials also don't agree on how long it's been in business, citing 13 years in one place and 18 in another. For a local move, especially one involving something fragile or oversized, the track record here is deep and mostly reassuring. Given the recent scheduling complaint, it's worth confirming your arrival window in writing and asking what happens if the crew runs behind — especially for anything booked around a tight lease-turnover date.

1 star — Avoid this company, save yourself the stress. I booked a 12-4 slot and they arrived exhausted at 7:30pm, finished 11:30pm. They severely overbook.

I booked a 12–4 PM window and was ready at noon. They texted saying they’d be there 2–4, then to 5–6, I call frustrated that they might not be arriving till 6 and I’m just told “this happens”, too bad basically.

6 comes and goes - CRICKETS. Calls, texts, and emails to management (Victor and Josh) went completely unanswered and I’m panicking looking up alternative movers for the next day. Everything I own is in box and I have work in the morning. Not to mention I’ve been sitting waiting since NOON.

At 7:03 PM, the movers finally called—saying they had just been assigned my job after they thought they were done for the day. They arrived around 7:30 PM, exhausted after completing four moves since 6 AM. Clearly overworked and overbooked.

My move didn’t finish until 11:30 PM on a work night.

The movers themselves were really great and did their best under terrible conditions—but management was disorganized, unresponsive, and unprofessional. No accountability, no communication after 6, they just clocked out for the day.

I still paid in full. (Oh sorry I got 10% off cause I paid in cash which is standard for all customers. )

Save yourself the stress—do not book this company.

I have used this company twice. Once to move me out of a place and then to move me again a year later. I had my things stored with them for over a year and nothing was damaged. The team was very professional and also very careful packing and unpacking. They work hard. Would definitely recommend them and will use them again.

Premium Q Moving truly went above and beyond for my move! From start to finish, their team was professional, efficient, and incredibly thoughtful. They showed up right on time, handled all of my belongings with care, and worked quickly without ever cutting corners.

I worked with these guys twice and both times I was very pleased with their speed and professionalism. Their rates were very competitive and Victor and Josh were very always available to answer questions. The movers came on time and moved everything quicker than expected. The movers were also very professional and great to work with, especially when there were small changes to packing and moving. Highly recommend the Medford branch!
