New England Style is not really a homeowner's contractor, and its own profiles say so. On Procore, where it claimed its page in April 2025, the company lists itself as a specialty concrete contractor working commercial, infrastructure and residential sectors — three projects on file, average project size north of $6.3 million. An equipment-vendor write-up describes its working problem as turning on-site demolition and construction waste into usable aggregate, which is jobsite crusher territory rather than kitchen-and-bath work. The credentials are documented unusually well. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, number 182622, is active. It also holds three Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office certifications, all verified active under the same registry number: Minority Business Enterprise and Women Business Enterprise, both running to November 2028, plus a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise certification. The Better Business Bureau grades it A+, though it is not BBB accredited, and records the company as in business since November 2010 with no complaints and no government actions on its profile. The customer history is where things thin out. Eight Google ratings average 4.3, and only five written reviews exist, spread across 2024 to 2026. Two landed in July 2026, both describing a last-minute call the company took on and delivered. An April 2025 customer got work scheduled for the next day and singled out the fast communication. In April 2024, someone wrote three words: fast concrete delivery. The single negative is specific and worth reading before signing anything. In November 2024, a customer called the company unreliable, said prices and fees were never disclosed upfront, and reported that a check was refused, leaving an online credit-card payment that carried an extra 3.5 percent. Nothing since repeats it, but against only five reviews, one substantive complaint about money carries real weight — which is why the rating here sits below what the star average alone would suggest. BuildZoom shows 13 projects for the company and lists an inactive home improvement contractor registration, number 175020, alongside the active one. For a concrete pour, site demolition or aggregate work — especially on a commercial or municipal job — this is a properly registered, multiply certified outfit with a 15-year history behind it. Get the full price, the fee schedule and the accepted payment methods in writing before anyone starts. That is exactly where its one unhappy customer says it went sideways.

Always willing to help last minute calls, the team is very helpful and humble a honor to work with them
Amazing company! They really came through for us when we were in a bind and needed help at the last minute. The team was professional, responsive, and did excellent work. We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend them!
Got everything is scheduled for the next day, fast communication.
Very unreliable, never disclose prices/fees upfront. Refused to accept check for payment leaving you with online credit card option which comes with additional 3.5 % extra charge. Overall, very lousy business. 0 stars for me.
