New England Property Services Group is the outfit you call after the water stops — a Fall River company whose work starts where a storm, a burst pipe, or a damp attic left off. Steven Ceceri founded it in June 2017 and still runs it, the company says, describing himself as a certified commercial and residential mold inspector and remediator; the site puts the business at nine years of work across Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, number 186957, is active on the state registry and held in Ceceri's name. The company also lists a Connecticut registration and a Rhode Island one — those are its own numbers, not ones confirmed against those states' registries. Rhode Island's business registry does show the LLC filed there as a foreign limited liability company. The work, by the company's own description, runs from attic and basement mold remediation to water-damage cleanup and repair, air quality and surface sampling, and the rebuild that follows: roofing and closed-cell insulation. On a home forum, a poster from Attleboro mentions Steven evaluating an attic for mold. Public homeowner accounts are scarce, and that note is most of what is out there. Two things are worth raising before signing. Federal court dockets in Rhode Island list the company as the plaintiff in suits against NGM Insurance Company and against Rimkus Consulting Group — the shape of dispute that arises when restoration work is billed through an insurance claim. Ask how the company handles carrier scope disagreements and what a homeowner owes if the insurer pays less than the estimate. Second, with so little published homeowner comment to lean on, ask for recent local references and for the mold sampling results in writing. For an insurance-driven mold or water-damage job around Fall River, the Massachusetts registration checks out and the specialty is genuine. The reference-checking, though, is work you will have to do yourself.
