The Better Business Bureau accredited the business in November 2025 and grades it A+. The volume of feedback is unusual: 4.9 stars across nearly 4,000 Google ratings, with hundreds of reviews in the last six months alone. What customers describe, over and over, is the assessment visit — auditors named individually, arriving on time, explaining rebates plainly and not pressuring. One homeowner this month wrote that their auditor showed up on time, was considerate through the walk-through, and discussed the pros and cons of different routes to energy savings. Another described an assessor working through a cramped, dusty attic in the heat without complaint and doing a thorough job of it. Several mention thermostats installed on the spot, action plans delivered the same day, and reps who took time over a complicated topic without rushing. The rebate navigation comes up as often as the technical work. One reviewer expected to pay around $20,000 for a heat pump system and learned about a turnkey programme that changed the picture entirely; another had paperwork completed on the spot to make sure every rebate was captured. The caution worth carrying in comes from a homeowner talking about the installation work rather than the audit. A Cambridge resident warned others off, arguing that with the state paying the bill there is no incentive for careful workmanship, and described a hole blown in a plaster wall during blow-in insulation that was patched badly and billed at over $150. Other Massachusetts posters were simply neutral, noting that many small businesses do Mass Save work the same way. Since the free assessment and the installation are effectively different crews, it is worth asking who performs the install, what the wall-repair policy is, and getting any patching agreed in writing before work starts.
