Ferreira Cleanouts / Junk Removal is a Peabody, Massachusetts outfit built for one job: hauling stuff out, not moving it between homes. It shows up here because "junk removal" and "moving" searches overlap, not because the crew — two brothers, Rick and Nick, running the business themselves — relocates households. What they actually do is well documented: 189 reviews since 2025 across four sources, landing at five stars on Google from 195 ratings, and the last six months alone account for 97 of those with not a single negative one. The same two names come up constantly — Rick handles the first call and the quote, Nick works alongside him on site — and reviewers keep describing the same pattern: a same-day or next-day response, arrival within the promised window, and a swept, tidy space when they leave. Recent jobs range from routine to genuinely difficult. One customer needed a couch, table, chairs, and dresser gone and had them out the next day with clear ETA updates. Another hired the crew to remove a rusty metal fence and watched them carefully carry the metal pieces through a door while new fencing was being installed. A washer and dryer removal required pulling a door off its hinges and reinstalling it afterward, done at a fair price without extra drama. The hardest job on record is an estate cleanout after a customer's parents passed away, handled with the same on-time, careful, respectful approach reviewers describe everywhere else, plus a barn cleanout that had absorbed twelve years of stored-and-forgotten items from friends and family, cleared and swept in a few hours instead of the months the owner had dreaded. There's nothing to flag on service quality — the recent record is clean. The one thing worth being clear-eyed about is what this business actually is: a two-brother junk-removal operation, not a moving company. If the job is packing up a house and driving it across town, this isn't that crew. If the job is clearing out what's left behind — old furniture, an estate, a barn or garage nobody's touched in years, appliances, construction debris — the record here is about as deep and clean as junk-removal reviews get, and Rick and Nick are the names to ask for.

Great experience! I inquired about a quote and they got back to me the same day with a reasonable price and could arrive the next day to take my couch, a table with chairs, and a dresser. The best part is they arrived on time and were super communicative about their ETA. Very nice boys and their uncle. Highly recommend!

It was a pleasure communicating with Rick right from the start. He is very professional, friendly and polite. He answered my inquiry immediately and stayed in touch with me throughout the plans for my junk removal. Rick and his brother, Nick came to my house exactly at the time we agreed upon. They took the very heavy tv stand and it removed it within seconds. The price was exactly as quoted and very reasonable. Overall, a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend them for any service you need. Thank you to Rick and Nick.
