Lemanski Construction Company works out of 15 Cherry Street in Danvers and takes on full-service residential and commercial work — renovations, restorations, kitchens and baths, additions and new builds — with a second office in West Palm Beach, Florida. Preston Lemanski, a painter by trade with more than two decades in painting and construction, began hiring subcontractors to handle construction work in his painting customers' homes and formally founded the company in 2015. He runs it with a named team of seven that includes two construction superintendents and a field manager. Its Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor registration, number 180861, is verified active in the state registry under Lemanski Construction Company, LLC. Houzz additionally lists a Construction Supervisor License, CS-104616, from the state Board of Building Regulations and Standards. The most detailed account of the work comes from an institution rather than a homeowner. In an April 2017 review, the general manager of The College Club of Boston wrote that Lemanski had done many projects for the club since 2008 — the complete renovation of its Victorian Percy-Dauber Function Room, a new heating system for a building that also holds an 11-room bed and breakfast, a new hardwood floor in the Wheaton Dining Room, and everyday smaller plumbing and electrical jobs — and that the result was "always impeccable, always finished on time with minimal disruption." Repeat business is the other consistent theme. A 2017 reviewer described engaging Lemanski for several projects at two different houses over seven years, said the firm acted as general contractor with subcontractors who were "uniformly excellent," and reported the work coming in within budget and within reasonable time given the scope, with the company responsive to plan changes. Another 2017 client said they had worked with the company repeatedly and would again; a third said they would hire Preston exclusively in future. One 2017 homeowner brought Lemanski in to finish a multitude of projects a previous contractor had left incomplete. In a July 2024 review, an interior designer who owns the firm Reider + Co described the team as collaborative through planning and design, engaging early so the interior scheme was integrated into the construction plan. Two things to size up before calling. Typical jobs are quoted at $100,000 to $2 million, so this is a firm built for substantial projects rather than small repairs. And most of the written record — eight of the nine accounts — was posted in one stretch between 7 April and 9 May 2017, so ask for references from projects finished in the last year or two, and confirm whether the Danvers team or the Florida office would run yours.
