A homeowner writing in March 2026 singles out the transparency and detailed scheduling across all the subcontractors involved as the best part of the job. That is the shape of Ebersole Construction: a Beverly general contractor whose reputation rests on running the project as much as building it.
Andre Ebersole leads the work and appears by name in nearly every account. The company says it was created in 2002 and is family owned and operated, working mainly in Beverly and Wenham on new construction, historic renovation and design-build. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active and its BBB page is an A+.
The jobs are big. A May 2026 client had a mudroom addition built, two bathrooms combined into one primary bath, and a new guest bathroom added. In 2025 a Beverly homeowner described a full house renovation with a garage addition; another that year had an addition carrying two bedrooms, an office and a master bathroom. Bathrooms come up constantly — a 2024 reviewer described a large, dysfunctional Jack and Jill bath turned into two separate ones, working from what they called a highly detailed quote. Kitchens too: a complete kitchen renovation in 2023 that a client said had lots of complex issues, and a kitchen expansion in 2025 finished on time.
Several reviewers lived in the house through the work and mention daily cleanup and a crew that was easy to have around. In a 2024 review a client wrote that the project came in on budget.
The one wrinkle worth reading: a 2024 review covering an eight-month renovation done in 2022 said the writer took issue with a couple of the subcontractors during the build, and with elements of a design they attributed to someone other than Andre. Since Ebersole coordinates a bench of subs on nearly every project, ask who is doing which trade and how they are supervised.
This is a fit for an addition, a whole-house renovation, or a bathroom reconfiguration where the plan matters as much as the finish — not for a small one-off repair. Ask for the detailed estimate reviewers keep praising, and get the schedule and the sub list in writing before work starts. One note on the paperwork: the company dates itself to 2002 while its BBB profile lists eleven years in business.

Andre and his team completed a mudroom addition, renovated/combined two bathrooms into one primary bath and built us a new guest bathroom in our house. Andre is detail-oriented, creative and exceptionally organized in his planning and project management. He and his team are highly skilled in their work and were thoughtful and kind to have at our home. The other contractors that Andre brought in (tile, insulation, plaster) were also highly skilled and did great work. Mid-project, the winter threw us a curveball and Andre/Team were quick to add a bit more work to the overall project scope. Overall, our projects remained on schedule and Andre/Team were clear and methodical in their planning and communication. We are so thrilled with our new bathrooms and mudroom and would highly recommend Andre and his team!
