DaSilva Landscape & Construction works out of Seekonk, right on the Rhode Island line, and its Angi and HomeAdvisor pages are brand new — both carry the same self-written blurb (26 years in the trade, Spanish spoken, free estimates, credit cards accepted) and neither has a review or a rating. BuildZoom hasn't collected any either. What the listings describe is dirt work rather than yard work: excavation and demolition, septic system installation, replacement and repair, sewer and water lines, major grading and resloping, alongside landscape construction. Daniel DaSilva is the person named on the BuildZoom profile. Licensing is the part to ask about directly. BuildZoom lists two Rhode Island registrations for the company — an underground utility licence and a residential and commercial contractor licence — but marks both "License Not Verified" and records their expirations in March 2021 and October 2020, stating that no active licence is on file. It does show the business as bonded through Western World Insurance. None of that amounts to a Massachusetts registration, and none of it has been checked against a state registry here. If you're weighing them for a septic system or a sewer line — work that gets permitted and inspected — ask to see the current registration for the state your job is in, proof of insurance, and references from recent jobs you can call. There's no public track record to lean on, which is not the same as a bad one; it just puts the checking on you.
