Nineteen years in, Clements Realty Group is still a three-person shop, and Gene Clements is the name that turns up in nearly every review of it. The brokerage works out of 490 Eastern Ave in Lynn with a second office in Peabody, and its Better Business Bureau profile puts the start date at January 2007. Its Massachusetts real estate broker license is active. BBB grades the firm A+ while listing it as not accredited — worth separating, since the grade is BBB's own scoring rather than a customer verdict, and accreditation is a separate paid status. Public reviews are few: a 4.8 average across a dozen Google ratings. What's written reads less like one-off transactions and more like long relationships. The thing to weigh before calling is volume. We started working with Clements Realty to remove and replace roofs for several properties but after seeing how dedicated Gene was our relationship turned personal when we referred our family and friends to him. Most recently, a cousin who was looking for his forever home and an employee of ours looking for an investment property. Gene was very communicative, conservative where necessary, and very informed on the current state of the market.
