Ask homeowners in Danvers what a good granite job looks like, and the word that keeps surfacing is seam — as in, you shouldn't be able to find one. Classic Rock Marble & Granite, running out of 13 Mill St since 2012 by the company's own account, is a stone fabrication and installation shop that cuts and sets granite, quartz, marble, quartzite, soapstone, and onyx countertops for kitchens and baths. The last several months of Google reviews tell a consistent story: patient sales help picking a slab, then installers who leave the seams nearly invisible. In late June, one customer credited Jhame and the crew with professionalism, knowledge, and pricing; a few weeks earlier another wrote in just to thank the installation team for work that could not look better. Reviewers in the spring singled out quartzite and soapstone jobs for the same reason — seams so minimal the finish reads as one continuous slab. It is not a flawless run. One April 2026 review describes the opposite outcome: a visible seam across a sink vanity that the customer says has looked worse for years, plus a dispute over paying again for a replacement slab after what they describe as a cutting mistake, and an office contact they found unprofessional. It is the one sour note in an otherwise consistent record — 4.8 stars across 113 Google ratings, a 5.0 from three Houzz reviews, BBB accreditation, and a run of regional 'Best of' honors between 2014 and 2018 — but it is a real one worth asking about directly: how they handle a seam that does not meet spec after the fact. Worth noting: one web directory lists a Beverly, MA address for the business, distinct from the Danvers location most other sources and its own site use — likely a satellite showroom, but confirm which location you're dealing with. This reads as a countertop specialist rather than a full kitchen-or-bath remodeler — the call for the slab and the install, not a gut renovation. Given how often minimal seams comes up in their own reviews, that is the specific thing worth asking the sales team about before booking: how seams will fall in your layout, and what happens if one does not come out clean.

Good Day Classic Rock Team, We just wanted to reach out and convey our appreciation for the quality of your work, and the work of the installation team. The installers did a fabulous job, the installation couldn’t look better, and working with you from start to finish was extremely simple and pleasant. Thank you for everything!

I use classic rock for a couple of jobs totally unprofessional office person. Is an extra scene going across the entire back of my sink vanity after a couple of years it looks disgusting it's impossible to keep clean. There is no reason for that seam other than the cutter messed up. When they did my kitchen there were nine seams originally I had to fight with them they had to replace it which they made me pay even more money for for another slab and that one has one seam.

We had a wonderful experience with Classic Rock Marble & Granite. The friendliness of the people we met and their work and communication was excellent. The soapstone countertops look amazing and their craftsmanship is superior. Their quote was excellent and they delivered on schedule. We can't imagine using anyone else.
