Capital Glass & Mirror

Capital Glass & Mirror is the division name a long-running Medford glass shop uses for management-company work. By the company's own account, General Glass & Mirror Corp was started in 1972 by Jim and Sandy Nazzaro as a two-man operation in a Stoneham storefront, moved back to Medford in 2014, and now has three generations of the Nazzaro family in the business — 54 years, family owned and operated, as it tells it. The work is glass and glazing: fabricating and installing aluminum storefronts, curtainwall, glass partitions, mirrors, handrails and shower enclosures. The company points that lineup mainly at commercial buildings and property managers, which is the thing to know before calling — a homeowner's frameless shower enclosure or mirror wall sits at the edge of what they describe as their business, not the middle of it.
