Bunker Hill Moving Company, based in Quincy, has built a reputation on the strength of its crews — reviewers name specific movers (Antonio, Armando, Raul, Allan, and others) by name again and again, and owner Marcos shows up personally in plenty of accounts too. Outside directories put its track record at over a decade, one even citing more than 15 years, handling local Massachusetts moves as well as longer hauls out of state. One reviewer this spring, who described living with "extreme anxiety most of the time," called their move with Raul, Antonio, and Allan "the least stressful of all" — the kind of specific, personal praise that's hard to fake. Another recent job had the crew beat an in-person quote against an online one, then pick up and deliver a large storage bed to a relative's house that same afternoon. A move from Massachusetts to western Pennsylvania in June went quickly on both ends, with packing and drop-off both described as efficient and the price matching the service. Google backs this up at scale: 4.9 stars across 240 ratings, with nothing negative showing up in the last several months of reviews. There's no real red flag to raise here. Worth knowing: different reviews name different crews, so you're getting one of several rotating teams rather than a single dedicated group — though every named team gets the same kind of praise. The company also lists registration with the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, standard credentials for household-goods carriers, though that's self-reported rather than something checked against a registry here. For a local Massachusetts move or a longer haul out of state, the volume and consistency of specific, named-crew praise make Bunker Hill a low-risk call — just confirm your in-person estimate and moving-day crew ahead of time.

Recently had a moving experience with Bunker Hill. The team of three gentlemen were attentive, efficient, and friendly. All around great experience from initialing scheduling with Marcos and team to final furniture installed and checkout occurred on site. Job well done. I will definitely recommend. Great experience.
