Brighton Moving & Storage operates out of Allston, and LinkedIn lists the company's annual revenue at $36.6 million — a bigger operation than the average neighborhood crew, even though the day-to-day work is the same kind of local move-your-stuff-upstairs job every renter eventually needs. Across its history, the same name keeps coming up in reviews: a crew member named Yony, credited repeatedly for handling tricky jobs — a fifth-floor walk-up with no elevator, wrapping and storing oversized furniture, even helping install an AC unit — carefully enough that some customers came back and booked a second time. That pattern holds into this year: a January review describes Carlos, Yony, and Jesus moving furniture between floors during a home renovation, arriving promptly with fair pricing. The one thing worth knowing: moveBuddha's own tally puts the company at 87% positive across roughly 69 reviews with a 3.8 average on Yelp — solid, but short of the near-unanimous runs some competitors show, so it's worth reading a few of the less enthusiastic reviews yourself before booking. For an everyday local move — especially one with an awkward walk-up or oversized furniture that needs storage — Brighton Moving & Storage's track record makes it a reasonable call; just confirm pricing and timing details directly given the size of the operation behind it.

Fast, fairly priced, and kind. This was my first time using movers and it was absolutely worth it. Everybody was very nice as well. They even helped put in my AC unit. Yony and his team are fantastic.

I used this company twice and each time they were exceptional. On time, friendly, professional and fun to talk to. They handled our 5 story walk up with no elevator with ease. They professionally wrapped our big furniture and stored it. I will use them again and have recommended them to everyone I know. Great company!!!!
