Allen was a great find, very professional, knowledgeable with years of experience and overall a nice guy. His team was great at remediating mold and asbestos in our basement and crawlspace, he even helped choose and set up the dehumidifier after the project was done. I hope you don’t need remediation but if you do, give Allen a shout.

I can't say enough good things about Atlantic Bay Contracting. We were dealing with a water leak from our upstairs neighbors and I was dreading the whole water/mold mitigation process—especially after getting estimates from other companies who seemed ready to just tear our house apart. Then thankfully Atlantic Bay Contracting and Allen, the owner, were referred to me by a neighbor. Allen is incredibly knowledgeable and you can tell instantly that he's thoughtful and genuinely cares about his clients and his work. He was meticulous and dedicated to figuring out the right fix, not creating needless distruction. I really felt like he was paying attention and treating our home with respect. If you have a complex issue, especially water damage, and want someone with high integrity and real expertise, just call Atlantic Bay. Huge thanks to Allen and his team for truly being thoughtful and caring while clients like myself are dealing with stressful water damage situations.

I hired Atlantic Bay Contracting to seal visible asbestos in my basement and clean any remaining residue on the air ducts and floor. The removal took place on October 8th, 2025, followed by a clearance test on October 9th performed by a hygienist recommended by the company. However, the very next day, on October 10th, I discovered that asbestos paper was still exposed on top of the air ducts, and loose pieces of asbestos material were left behind. This was alarming, especially considering that the purpose of the job was to seal and prevent asbestos exposure. I contacted Atlantic Bay immediately, and although they initially agreed to come back and fix the issue, their follow-up was extremely disappointing. On October 17th, two representatives arrived but decided to delay the work until their supervisor, Allen Young, could assess the situation. When he arrived, he claimed that the loose asbestos had likely appeared after their removal work and was not related to their service. I found this explanation unacceptable. Still, I gave them another opportunity to correct the problem, but they left without doing any cleanup and said they would return the following week with proper tools. Before their scheduled return, on October 19th, I discovered a significant amount of dust inside my washing machine that appeared to result from their work. This raised serious concerns about cross-contamination and safety. At that point, I lost all confidence in Atlantic Bay Contracting’s ability to perform asbestos-related work responsibly. I canceled the follow-up appointment on October 20th and hired another contractor to properly clean up the mess they left behind. To make matters worse, despite multiple requests, Atlantic Bay has not provided all the invoices for the payment I made. They have not responded at all. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Atlantic Bay Contracting. Their work quality, safety practices, communication, and professionalism were far below expectations for a company handling hazardous materials like asbestos. While you may assert that all procedures were followed, the conditions I observed immediately after the work indicate otherwise. Exposed asbestos paper, loose debris left on top of the air ducts, and significant dust contamination inside my washing machine directly contradict the claim that the work was completed properly or safely. These issues appeared within days of your team’s visit and should not occur if industry standards had been followed. Additionally, although you reference documentation and third-party testing, this does not address the visible deficiencies and contamination I reported. Finally, I have repeatedly requested the invoices for the payments with no response to date. Given these unresolved concerns, I stand by my assessment of the service I received. Additionally, the third party you referenced was selected and recommended by your own team, which raises concerns about their independence and impartiality.

I can't say enough about how great my experience was with Atlantic Bay Contracting. While the project was a relatively small asbestos remediation, I needed help managing it while I was out of state. This was not a problem and the entire team went above and beyond . First, when I called after hours, Allen responded promptly to my questions — and was friendly and welcoming to me (I as moving to MA from out of state). Second, when it came to understanding the whole process, the administrative team patiently explained every step. Third, the entire process was scheduled and executed *as planned* (notification to the state, and the project itself,etc). Lastly, the billing was exactly as they had said it would be at the outset — no surprises. Though I hope I don't need any more asbestos remediation, I will definitely go with Atlantic Bay if I do.

This company was very professional, They did an amazing job. I was dealing with mold and they came quickly and worked thoroughly. I’d recommend them to friends and family for sure!
