- Fast response — shoveling and cleanup calls answered same day
- Careful with belongings — praised moving furniture and a pool table

- Solo operator — capacity tied to one person, Ted
TZ Home Solutions is essentially one person — Ted, whom a few reviewers call Theodore — and the jobs people call him for are the ones that fall between the cracks of the bigger trades: a yard full of leaves, a driveway buried after a blizzard, a dresser that needs assembling, furniture that has to cross the house. Working out of Newton, he's the generalist homeowners hand a list to. The number that jumps out is consistency: 32 Google ratings, every one of them five stars, and the same two words keep surfacing — on time. One customer called him the first service provider who showed up when he said he would, and even early. After the Blizzard of '26, another had him dig out a driveway, two backyard pathways, a generator, and a bulkhead door — he arrived on time, quoted a price, and held to it. The range is genuinely broad for a solo operator. Recent jobs span spring yard cleanup, mulch and planting, leaf removal, snow shoveling, moving help — including a pool table handled more carefully than the customer's actual moving company — furniture assembly, painting, car detailing, and small repairs around the house. The words reviewers reach for are punctual, hardworking, and fair on price. A couple of things to keep in mind before calling. This is light-duty, hands-on labor — cleanup, hauling, assembly, minor fixes — rather than licensed trade work like plumbing or electrical, so match the job to the scope. And the track record, while uniformly strong, is young: every review is from 2026 and lives on Google, so there isn't yet a long or cross-platform history to lean on. For a homeowner who needs a dependable pair of hands for seasonal work, a move, or a punch-list of odd jobs, Ted is a solid call. Pin down the price and scope up front — reviewers say he honors the quote he gives — and you'll know exactly what you're getting.

Ted and his team did an amazing job. They cleaned up our yard, filled 32 bags of leaves, and also brought our patio furniture outside and moved boxes around the house. Everything was done efficiently and professionally.

Great experience overall. We needed help with cleanup, moving a few heavy items, and small repairs around the house. They took care of everything in one visit and made the whole process very easy. Reliable, respectful, and efficient team.
