Sixty-one permitted projects, six written reviews. That gap is the first thing to understand about Twin Peaks Construction: a Foxboro general contractor with a long building-permit trail and very little public paper on what it is like to hire them. What is written is specific. A homeowner in June 2026 hired them to take down a load-bearing wall between a kitchen and dining room, and describes a detailed estimate that Scott revised once the owner took on the demolition separately — then kept answering questions by text after the job ended and pointed them to other trades. Another June 2026 client had used the company twice on a downtown Boston condo and singles out something narrow and genuinely useful: they know how to work inside condo association rules. In March 2024, a homeowner had a garage redone with John and his crew. The company presents itself as a full-service residential builder handling custom homes, additions, and interior and exterior renovations, with a principal personally involved in every job — John Marsoobian, Jr. and Scott Cummings. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active. By its own account one principal holds the NAHB Certified Aging in Place Specialist designation and the other the Certified Graduate Remodeler designation. Houzz shows 12 project galleries: a golf simulator and game room, a pool house, a New England colonial addition, a custom Cape. The one negative is recent and it is not about construction. In July 2026 someone left a single star saying the company lists their phone number as a contact and strangers keep calling and texting, and that they have never had anything to do with the business. Read it for what it is — an administrative complaint rather than a report on the work — but it is the newest thing anyone has written about them. The right call for a structural or whole-room job where you want an owner on site rather than a coordinator. With a record this thin, lean on references: ask for two or three recent clients with projects the size of yours, and settle which principal will actually be running yours.
They continue to have my number listed as a source of contact, and I'm getting calls/texts all the time. They need to remove it. I've never had anything to do with this company.
We have used Twin Peaks twice for construction work at our downtown condo in Boston and both experiences were great. Scott Cummings and his team and professional, organized, understand how to operate within the condo rules and deliver on what they promise. I highly recommend their services and would work with them again. Just wish that they also did work in New Hampshire....
I don't have enough good things to say about Scott and Twin Peaks Construction. My project was taking down a load bearing wall between a kitchen and dining room. He provided a very detailed estimate, editing the estimate based on my having some of the work done separately like the demo, and completed the project efficiently. Scott was fair, knowledgable, kind, reasonable, and communicative. Even since the project ended, he's answered a few random questions I have had by text and recommended great people for other home projects like painting and insulation.
I reaaly enjoyed my experience with Twin Peaks Construction! They were able to help me with my home projects and made the process so easy! I can't recomend them enough!
