What customers have written down is thin. Eight Google ratings average 4.8, and exactly one carries a comment: a June 2025 customer who called the crew friendly, diligent and hard-working. That is genuine praise from someone who hired them, but a single comment can't tell you how they handle a missed visit or a damaged surface.
The thing to raise before booking is on file with the state. In May 2017 the Massachusetts Attorney General's Fair Labor Division issued six citations against Tully's Cleaning Company, Inc. of Rockland, totalling $7,141.33 — non-payment of wages, earned sick time, failure to furnish a pay stub, failure to furnish records for inspection, a $2,500 retaliation citation, and $1,000 for hindering the Attorney General's investigation, with one employee affected. That file is nine years old and concerns how the business treated an employee rather than the quality of a cleaning job — but it is fair to ask the owners directly how their crews are paid and classified today.
Worth pinning down too: the residential side. Tully's leads with commercial office cleaning, floor stripping and waxing, and day porter service, so ask how the house-cleaning crews are staffed, how often they'd come, and who your point of contact is.
For a South Shore homeowner who wants a long-established local outfit, this is a reasonable call — with the 2017 citations put on the table, and scope, frequency and price in writing before the first visit.
