The Worthmore Group sells building science rather than a single trade. From Danvers, the company describes itself as a BPI-certified building performance outfit working the North Shore: energy assessments first, then insulation, Aeroseal duct sealing, window and door replacement, solar and EV charger installation, for homes and commercial buildings alike. It says it was founded and is led by Fred Hopps, on more than 20 years of building science experience. The homeowner accounts are good, and they are old. Its three Angi reviews all sit at five stars and run 2013 to 2017: a 2015 customer described professional work, a careful cleanup at the end and good value for the money, and a 2017 reviewer called the crew fast, clean and courteous. That is the whole written history — the Angi average of 5.0 rests on those three. BuildZoom shows 17 projects for the company. Two things are worth raising before you call. BuildZoom lists a Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration for the company, issued in January 2026, and separately an EPA renovation certification carrying an inactive status — that second one matters for window replacement and insulation work in older, pre-1978 housing, so ask directly about current lead-safe renovator certification. And the profiles do not agree on what the business does: the Angi page lists carpentry as its only service while the company's own site is all energy work. Also on that Angi page: free estimates and credit-card payment, with no warranty and no emergency service offered. For an energy assessment, insulation or duct sealing on a North Shore house, this is a plausible call with a decade-old trail of satisfied customers behind it. Because that trail stops in 2017, lean harder than usual on the current paperwork — ask for the registration number, the EPA renovator status, and a couple of recent local references before signing.
