Everything written about The Rock Construction points outdoors, to stone. A homeowner writing in August 2023 described pavers laid around their pool and plans to have Domingo's crew back to extend them further; in April 2022 another customer remembered the patio job mostly for how fast the crew moved through it. The Lynn company describes itself as a hardscaping and masonry outfit — patios, walkways, stone walls, chimneys, fireplaces, stone veneer, firepits and landscape design — and says plainly that it does not do flooring. By its own account it has been at this over two decades, is owner-operated with the head of the company on every job site, and works Lynn, Swampscott, Marblehead, Middleton, Andover, North Andover and Newburyport. Domingo, who identifies himself on LinkedIn as the founder, is the name customers use: all four written reviews name him directly, and a July 2024 reviewer credited design, work ethic and attention to detail. The history is the part to weigh carefully. Five Google ratings and four written accounts, running 2022 to 2024, all of them five stars and none of them recent — enough to show what the work looked like then, not enough to tell you much about this season's crew or schedule. The company's site offers free estimates and on-site consultations. For a paver patio, a walkway or stone work around a pool on the North Shore, this is a reasonable name to put on a shortlist. Ask to walk a hardscaping job finished in the last year or two, and get scope, materials and price in writing before any base goes down.
